If you didn't, I still appreciate you and I completely understand.Īlso, no, my uncle didn't work at Nintendo, he my aunt and my cousin were just financially well.A new Valentine's Day wallpaper is now available. Most of my gaming stuff I had growing up were from my uncle.Īnyway, sorry for the massive text wall, but if you made it this far, I appreciate you. Granted, I had SMB 1 and 3 as well as Sonic 1, 2, 3, and K, but my family wasn't exactly big spenders on my game enjoyment, on top of how we couldn't exactly afford much in the first place. Instead of Decap Attack I had Jurassic Park. Instead of Chrono Trigger on the SNES, I didn't even have a SNES. Instead of MegaMan 2 on NES, I had some Sesame Street game cause I was a toddler at the time. Hell, I grew up in the NES/SNES/Genesis days, but I didn't get all the games that were super hard but super popular. I'm still very proud of beating Omega in ZX, though.īesides, and I don't know how this can be construed as such but I mean no ill will when I say this, but it's very likely you guys find these games easy because you grew up on Classic/X Mega Man games and/or played them enough(probably more times then there exist known numbers for all we know) to know them to the point that you probably have the boss patterns and weakness from every Mega Man game memorized to a T. I played through them a ton growing up, but I use the checkpoint system cause muscle memory didn't stick with me with games like that. Yeah, he lets you start from the final lap, but RNG was not on my side there.ītw, no offense taken, I admit I do suck with certain games even if games like MegaMan have interested me quite a bit, especially since I LOVE the Zero games and think the ZX ones are good(but not as good as the Zero games imho). It took me hours to finish the 2nd to last Riddler Trial in Arkham Knight cause of how the last lap of the Batmobile race is done. I'm not gonna know everything about the boss or their patterns in one try, but I get frustrated or miffed that I lost cause sometimes multiple tries can take forever depending on the circumstances, on top of the frustration(especially when they don't have much health left, that in itself just makes it more frustrating). I still struggled, especially since these bosses have patterns to learn, and while I admit I hate not being able to do things in one try, that is the point. I knew what I was doing quite a bit with these games. Couldn't even hear the actual music for the 2nd phase(?) cause I got revived by music. Ntm I struggled a ton with the final bosses of GV2 and I did beat iX1 since posting this cause I didn't get a straight answer at first(kinda figures that prevasion was the easy mode), and, of course, I had trouble with the final boss. I have no idea how I stopped it in the battle I won, but it's not exactly rare for someone to not know what to do in a game they hadn't played prior to that point, let alone not remember after some amount of time passed. Iirc I was like, super close and then he pulled that move on me. Some of the bosses are hard, and I also just mentioned the instakill move for the final boss in GV1 getting me. Prevasion makes you almost completely untouchable and is turned on by default, combine that with the potential of Anthem triggering and it's practically impossible to actually lose. You would need to be literally trying to lose. ![]() Like, seriously I don't mean this is an insult but if you're just trying to beat the game HOW the hell do you find any difficulty in that. ![]() These games are about as easy and not frustrating as trying to repair a car but only using any knowledge you got from Cooking Mama. Like, you have abso♥♥♥♥ingloutely no idea how much I beg to differ. Originally posted by CrazySeanDX:I VERY MUCH beg to differ. ![]()
